Payment
Our rates for editing are based on the level of work required to produce an effective document. We do not believe that you should pay for more service than you need. You can choose the editing level or we can recommend it after looking over your project. If you would prefer, we can also give you a single project price.
Our rate is $30-60usd per hour or 3 cents per word and charges are based on the following scale:
- Basic Editing (6-10 pages per hour) - correcting misspellings, typos, verb-subject errors, tense, capitalization, punctuation, etc.
- Intermediate Editing (3-6 pages per hour) - includes basic editing plus improving word choice and sentence structure, reworking run-on sentences, eliminating superfluous words, checking paragraph structure, and supplying comments and suggestions
- Advanced Editing (2-3 pages per hour) - includes intermediate editing plus extensive rewriting of sentences to correct non-native English or problems caused by translation; reorganization of paragraphs for logic and consistency; phone conferences with authors when necessary to clarify meaning

We accept the following forms of payment:
Payment must be sent within 10 days of receiving the edited material.
